It's been difficult for you the last few weeks. Your friends have been pressuring you to do things you know you shouldn't do. You're struggling to set a good example for everyone else, but it's harder than ever for you to go against the grain.
Hey GEM girls! Have you ever seen grass growing through cracks in the concrete?
Sometimes, there are tiny cracks in concrete where grass has enough space and light to grow through. The grass somehow finds the little crack, and towards the sun it goes! It grows almost as well as it would anywhere else.
You could apply this lesson to life too. In our lives, sometimes we may be put into difficult situations. But like the grass growing through the concrete, we can still push through and stay strong even in tough situations. That can be really hard sometimes, but it can be done with God's help.
"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) Sometimes it's hard to find good in every situation. There are some things that have happened in my life that I thought were just the worst things in the world. But I've been learning to see the good in every situation and to be thankful "in everything," even if the things themselves weren't so pleasant. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord..." (Romans 8:28)
It's a short and simple lesson, but there are so many things we can learn from little things in nature.
So, even in difficult times, look up to Jesus, our Sunlight. Shine for Him wherever you go, and He will lead you in His path. 😊
Love,
Such a wonderful reminder! Love this!
We have to remember the goal we are aiming for. Then, we can stand tall for Jesus! ❤️
