Sometimes we just have these difficult moments in our lives that we can't see the purpose of.
Hey GEM girls! We see shadows all the time, whether they're from the sun or other sources of light. Where do shadows come from? Basically, when we have an object that a source is shining over, that patch of darkness you see beside it is the shadow. Remember, there has to be a light in order for there to be a shadow.
Okay, well what's the point? We all know what a shadow is, right? There's a cool object lesson we can learn from this.
Sometimes in our lives, we will have these dark and intimidating things that just seem to overwhelm us.
Wait, so if there's a shadow, then there has to be a light, right?
Even in hard times when we seem stuck in our shadows, our dark times, we can be assured that because there is a shadow, there is also a light that shines through the darkness. God hasn't forgotten about you. He's still there, looking out for you and standing by your side. In fact, He's been there the whole time.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." -Psalm 23:4
