Light in the Dark

Have you ever been in a room so dark that you can't see your hand in front of your face?

Hey GEM girls! I love candlelight dinners. Like when all the bright lights are off, and the only lights are the little candles? Those little lights make everything feel more special.

One evening my brother and I were playing board games in the living room when all of the sudden the power went out. It was dark and we could barely see our hands in front of our faces! Then, I got a great idea. Let's light some candles! We lit all the candles we could find and they started twinkling and glowing. Those little lights made a big difference!

Now, think about your relationship with Jesus. A little bit of truth from the Bible can make a big difference. Paul tells us in Acts 13:47, "I [God] have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth." There are a lot of people who don’t have the light of Jesus’ love. We are supposed to be a light to them!

You might think that you aren’t wise enough or old enough to share Jesus’ love with someone, but sometimes the little things you can share can make the biggest impact on someone’s life.

So don't be afraid to be a light! God will use anyone who is willing 😊❤️
